Delete your HappyPaaji account

You can ask us to delete your HappyPaaji account and personal data right here — you don't need to install the app or sign in. Just verify the mobile number your account uses.

How deletion works

We take you through four steps. Nothing is deleted until the 30-day window has passed.

  • 1. Tell us which account

    Choose whether you're deleting a Foodie account or a delivery partner account, and enter the mobile number it's registered to.

  • 2. Verify it's you

    We send a one-time code to that number. This is the only way we can be sure the request comes from the account holder and not someone else.

  • 3. 30-day cancellation window

    Your account keeps working for 30 days. If you change your mind, use the cancel link in the confirmation message and nothing is deleted.

  • 4. Permanent deletion

    After that, your personal data is erased and your account is closed for good. This cannot be undone — you'd need to sign up again from scratch.

Which account?

We send a code to confirm the number is yours, so nobody can request deletion of an account they cannot receive messages for.

What gets deleted, and what we have to keep

We delete everything that identifies you. A small set of financial records has to stay for legal reasons — but with your identity stripped out of it.

Deleted permanently

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • Your profile photo
  • All your saved delivery addresses
  • Your login — the account can no longer be signed into
  • Notification tokens for your devices
  • The text of any reviews you wrote (star ratings stay, without your name)
  • For delivery partners: date of birth, address, emergency contact, vehicle and licence details, and all uploaded KYC documents

Kept, but anonymised

  • Order records, invoices, payments and refundsIndian tax and accounting law requires us to keep transaction records. These stay linked to an anonymous id, not to you — your name and number are removed from them.
  • Delivery partner earnings and settlement statementsRequired for GST and TDS reporting. Also anonymised.
  • Star ratings you gaveRestaurants and delivery partners depend on their overall rating. The score stays; your name and the comment text do not.

These records are kept only for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and are not used to contact you or to rebuild your profile.

Other ways to do this

  • In the app: delivery partners can delete their account from Profile → Delete account.
  • Changed your mind? Use the cancel link in the confirmation message any time within 30 days.
